In 2016, I founded Bury Soft Play with a simple goal in mind – to celebrate my son’s first birthday and earn a little extra pocket money for a holiday each year.

 

What began as a small venture has now grown into something far beyond what I ever imagined.

By 2025, Bury Soft Play has expanded into a thriving business with multiple vans and a dedicated team, providing over 40 party hires a month. While I’m incredibly proud of this growth, it has left me with limited time to devote to our mid-week sessions.

​

This is where Soft Play City UK comes in.

​

Though I’ve loved running the mid-week sessions and connecting with amazing parents and children, the demands of the business have made it challenging to continue at the same pace.

 

So, I’ve decided to launch Soft Play City UK as a franchise opportunity.

​

Drawing from five years of experience running PAYG sessions and four years managing Bury Soft Play’s party hire service, I’ve created a franchise model that allows others to share in this success.

​

I’ve often been asked if our services can reach other areas, with parents and groups asking, “Can you come to Cambridge?” “Do you cover Norwich?” and even “Would you hold sessions in London?” While I love the idea of reaching new communities, it’s just not practical for me and my family to cover locations that are too far from home. However, with the franchise model, Soft Play City can expand across the UK and serve all these areas and more.
