​Schools, Nurseries and SEND Sessions
We offer a wonderful, interactive and inclusive learning through play experience for pre-school, reception aged children. Our events, equipment and sessions tie in with the Early Years Framework including the three Prime areas, Personal, social and emotional development (PSED), Communication and language (CL), and Physical development (PD), as well as promoting many aspects of the EYFS and Early Learning goals.
The Soft Play City takes advice and guidance from EYFS teachers including Heads of Early Years as well as Nursery Managers, as well as only using equipment that has been designs and advised by Paediatric Professionals globally.
We are fully insured, DBS checked, hold full valid First Aid certificates and can provide copies of our risk assessments as and when required.

SEND Events

At Soft Play City, we are dedicated to providing a ‘soft play experience for everyone.’ Our goal is to create an inclusive and interactive space where children can learn, build, and communicate, all while enjoying time with their peers, parents, and carers.
​
We are thrilled to have welcomed thousands of families to our Soft Play Cities and events. It means a lot to us that so many parents consider our sessions a safe and supportive space where children, aged 0-6, of all abilities, can explore and grow through play.
We understand that families with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) may sometimes struggle to find appropriate spaces. Through our conversations with SEND families, we’ve learned there is often a gap in suitable provision.
In response, we are pleased to offer SEND-specific sessions when possible, allowing these families to enjoy a space where their children can explore in a more tailored environment.
While our regular sessions are always open to SEND families, we acknowledge that sometimes a dedicated SEND session may be more beneficial. Please check with your local Soft Play City for information about specific SEND sessions, including dates and locations.

We believe offering these SEND-exclusive sessions is a positive step toward ensuring all families have the opportunity to experience the joy of play in a way that best suits their needs.

Toddler Groups, Special Needs Groups, Home Education & Charities

We are proud to have had the opportunity to visit and run sessions for a variety of groups, including local toddler groups, special needs groups, home education communities, and charitable organisations across Suffolk.
​
Through collaboration with these incredible teams, we tailor our sessions to meet the unique needs of the children and families involved. Whether it’s an all-day hire or smaller group sessions, we bring the Soft Play City experience directly to your school or group, offering something fresh and exciting beyond the usual.

In these wonderful settings, we partner with staff to give children of all ages the chance to explore and enjoy all the toys and equipment our City has to offer. In some cases, we even help rekindle the memories and play experiences of children who previously attended our sessions in years gone by.

All our Cities are built on high-quality matting, certified by SATRA (the materials testing agency), designed to provide a safe and cushioned area for children to play. This ensures a secure environment for children of all abilities to enjoy their time with us.
